Curriculum

The school follows C.B.S.E curriculum. The medium of instruction is English. Tamil and Malayalam are the optional second languages. The school has a dynamic kindergarten section handled by trained teachers. Computer education is introduced from LKG onwards. A sprawling campus, well equipped Science, Mathematics, Computer and Language labs, a fine Library, excellent facilities for major games and sports and value oriented education at all levels. Text books, note books and other instructional materials are supplied to students through the book store in the school campus.

Schedule of the school

The school will work 5 days a week and 7 periods a day in strict conformity with the directive from the NCERT. Special classes for students who need special care are conducted on all days after school hours and on Saturdays. All house activities and sports/games activities are arranged during school hours. There are 35 contact periods a week and each period will be of 45 mts duration.

Examinations and continuous evaluation

In addition to the written monthly class tests, midterm examinations and terminal examinations, there is continuous evaluation by rating scale and other observational techniques. This approach is adopted for the reliable grading of the pupils in accordance with the direction of the CBSE.

The system of education in our school is the blend of tradition and modernity, theory and practice in the right proportion to arrive at a comprehensive curriculum. Our institution has a strong team of experienced and dedicated faculty who are inspired by our vision Gnana, Dharma and Sneha. The students are guided in learning at his or her own pace in an environment which showers loving care and acceptance like a mother inside the school premises for a well-rounded personality.

Parents Interaction

Parent - Teacher Co-operation is essential for the continuous and harmonious growth of the students. The process of informal education is set in motion at birth and gains momentum in the school, a centre of formal education. To bring out the best in the child, home influence should aid and supplement school efforts. Both school and home should help the children to inculcate in them desirable behavior patterns, health habits and positive attitude in personal and social life to make the pride to the family and assets to the society. We have Open House Meetings every second Saturday.
