Nalloor Vettuvenni Kandan Sastha Vidyalaya, Vettuvenni, was established in 2012 as a sister concern of NVKS Senior Secondary School, the first CBSE affiliated school of Kanniyakumari District established in the year 1974 by NVKS Educational Society. The School holds on to the philosophy of NVKS Educational Society to provide selfless service to the society for the cause of education with a vision of Gnana, Dharma, Sneha. The school provides stress free environment and makes learning a happy process for the students. Equal importance is given to the classroom education and learning beyond classrooms . The aim is to provide holistic education with a blend of Indian tradition and modernity.

The world is filled with people who have high potential, are very able and brilliant, but the people who make the difference and leave their mark in the world are the ones whose intentions are pure and visionary. Being educated or possessing high percentage of marks and degrees will not make a man complete until he realizes to utilize the education in the right spirit to contribute to the society in which he lives.
Learning must refine the thoughts of a child and mould him/her in to a human being who understands that, if the intentions are good the impact of their actions will be the best. Schools should become the place where every child is transformed into an adult who values even the smallest creature and the smallest thought. Education should guide the child to identify, differentiate and implement the right thought, at the right time and in the right manner.
There is no better way to pay back to the society than providing the most desired and important infrastructure in the form of modern education with traditional moral and cultural values. The world today has an approach of use and throw, which cultivates a culture of taking things for granted. Schools should strive to instill the values of gratitude into our children so that they don't take things for granted.
